We’ve found some common ground.

We’ve found some common ground.
This guy’s way beyond average. Also clearly from the late 80s/early 90s.

A very impressive speech by Governor Palin tonight.
If you didn’t see it, go watch at CNN.com and probably elsewhere.
The editor of RELEVANT Magazine, Cameron Strang, recently accepted, then declined an invitation to offer the benediction on the opening night of the Democratic National Convention.Author Don Miller (”Blue Like Jazz”) offered the following benediction in place of Cameron.
Good stuff from Cameron and Don. What say you?
As a student of history, I am reminded why all this matters a great deal.
Somewhere, somehow, in the last two years, this 1980’s gem from Rick Astley re-emerged.
This tax policy is completely counter-intuitive to me.
A 40% tax bracket essentially means that the wealthy would have to work until May to pay their taxes.
That’s just not right. It smacks of class warfare, and, worse than that, a classless society. (I won’t use the word for that, but if it looks like a duck, walks likes a duck….)
