Did God just chose them arbitrarily or for some reason that we don't know? I had a conversation with a mormon a while back and she said her brother was gonna be a Prophet when he grew up. When I asked her why she thought so, she said "cause everybody likes him." I'm pretty sure that's not how it worked in the O.T., but I don't know how it does. I know that back in the OT the prophets helped the people understand the mind of God.. But I also know that Revelation is a slightly cryptic book, and theologians try hard to understnad it... but what is wrong with not knowing everything?
