I have many Christian friends who are entirely skeptical about the very existence of global warming.
To these friends I offer this reasoned, scientific, believing response.

While I believe that it is high time that we took a more aggressive pose on our consumption of natural resources I have a few fundamental problems with the idea of ‘global warming’, the is first is that its problem is greatly exaggerated, 31,000 scientists, including the president of the National Academy of Sciences and the head of the MIT climatology department have signed a document stating that global warming is not all its cracked up to be and that not enough scientific evidence exists to fully gauge the impact on the climate. The second problem I have is the extremely arrogant attitude this problem takes. By naturalistic methods the earth is estimated to be 60 billion years old (if you believe that) and the oldest climatological data we have dates to about 1850. So we’re saying that in less then 1/10 millionth of the earth’s history we have managed to completely destroy the natural order? Are we that arrogant that we consider ourselves so powerful to as completely destroy the natural order? The data is simply not there, while I do believe that we need to control our carbon emissions and research new energy forms, this idea that global warming is the tantamount crisis of our times is just too much for me to handle.
perhaps, but the credibility of the person interviewed here is beyond question.
Granted, people love to trot out persons who support their own preconceived notions, but I have none.
I’m for a Biblical stewardship of God’s creation.
If that means I’m more careful, then I’m more careful.
I’ll do my part, and trust that the Lord will see my own obedience, rather than some alarmist drivel.
that’s why I posted this clip.
Alarmist? Yes.
Drivel? I don’t think so.
Furthermore, he’s a brother in Christ.
That’s my two cents.
