R.I.P. - My First Mac Hard Drive

Written by S.G.R. Webster on July 8th, 2008

Hard Drive

Time of death - circa 6 P.M. last Sunday.

Replaced via warranty yesterday.

In my possession today.

All my files? Probably gone.

The Ipod files (pictures, photos) are safe. Beyond that, we’ll have to see.

Also, on Independence Day, the sunroof on our car permanently decided to be open.

This is a $1000.00 problem.

It’s been an interesting week.

We’d covet your prayers.

My computer needs to go into the shop too. R.I.P Mac Screen, OS X Install, DVD Drive. I feel your pain. You should invest in a small external drive and use Time Machine to backup all your stuff. It’s the safest solution.
