6:00 A.M. – Woke up next to my beautiful wife

7:00 A.M. – Had breakfast with a dear friend

8:00 A.M. – Listened to good music; listened to Ravi decry secularization with some more dear friends

9:00 A.M. – Ranted about the ridiculousness of anarchy to even more dear friends; listened to Ravi unpack Jonah & sing the praises of David Livingston

10:00 A.M – 12:00 – Got to talk to some new friends about Isaiah 11 and the appearance of the shoot from Jesse (not “rock star” Jesse, but David’s dad)

12:00 – 1:00 – Moved to tears for the first time after watching the short film “Most”

1:00 P.M. – Told my advanced placement united states history students that all utopias fail; discussed Thoreau, Whitman, Dickinson, Poe

2:00 P.M. – Hung out with the same good friends from this morning & listened to more good music

3:00 P.M. – Picked up my beautiful daughter from preschool; talked about her friends; got home, kissed the same beautiful wife from this morning

4:00 P.M. – Went with my handsome son to the grocery store

6:00 P.M. – Hung out with the same friends from this morning at our home; rocked guitar hero; more good music

7:30 P.M. – Went to Dairy Queen with the family and the friends

8:30 P.M. – Back at the house; campfire, good music, even better conversation; watched flight of the conchords – jenny and riotously laughed

11:00 P.M. – said good night to the friends and my children; awed by my wife’s patience and longsuffering

11:30 P.M. – moved to tears for the second time today by the song “Stay” – Robbie Seay Band

Needess to say, it was a very very good day. Thank you to all who were a part of it.
